Roadmark vs Turvo

Turvo is a Lineage-owned logistics platform for shippers, brokers and carriers; Roadmark is a TMS with a shared workspace and AI agents that draft the work.

The short answer

Which one fits you?

Both Turvo and Roadmark put shippers, brokers and carriers on the same shipment. Turvo is a collaborative logistics platform sold to shippers as well as brokers, 3PLs and carriers. Roadmark has its own AI agents that draft the quote, cover, tracking update and invoice for a person to approve, runs several companies with separate books, and can start beside your current TMS one job at a time.

Roadmark is the better choice if

  • You want AI agents to draft the routine work (quotes, carrier cover, tracking updates and invoices) for a person on your team to approve, with the numbers and the rule shown.
  • You'd rather keep the TMS you dispatch from today, Turvo included, and start with one job, such as quoting or tracking. Roadmark runs beside Turvo, McLeod, TMW or TruckMate through their APIs.
  • You run more than one company or division and want them in one system with separate books.

Turvo is the better choice if

  • You're a shipper looking for a TMS for your own freight: Turvo sells to shippers as well as brokers, 3PLs and carriers.
  • You run warehouses and want dock appointment scheduling and inventory beside orders and shipments: Turvo lists scheduling and inventory applications on the same platform.

Turvo and Roadmark both put the outside parties to a shipment on the same screen. They differ in who they're sold to and in what does the routine work.

Turvo describes itself as a collaborative logistics platform that creates a standard way to share, communicate and collaborate in real time, and it sells to freight brokers, shippers, 3PLs and carriers (turvo.com). Its pricing page lists a Core TMS plan from $5,000 a month, with a collaboration and visibility plan on request (turvo.com). It has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Lineage, a logistics and cold-storage company, since 2022.

Roadmark is a TMS for carriers, brokers and groups of companies. Shippers, the brokerage and carriers work on the same shipment in one shared workspace, each seeing their part, and AI agents draft the quote, the carrier cover, the tracking update and the invoice, with the numbers and the rule behind each draft shown, for someone on your team to approve (see /brokers). It vets carriers and checks for fraud at onboarding, posts loads to many load boards, and runs beside the TMS you already have (Turvo, McLeod, TMW, TruckMate or your own) one job at a time, so switching to Roadmark for quoting doesn't mean touching dispatch (see /switching).

When Turvo is the better choice

If you're a shipper choosing a TMS for your own freight, Turvo sells to shippers directly, and Roadmark is built for carriers, brokers and groups. And if you run warehouses, Turvo lists dock appointment scheduling and inventory on the same platform as orders and shipments (turvo.com).

When Roadmark is the better choice

If the bottleneck is the routine work inside your own operation (pricing a quote, covering a load, chasing a status update, drafting an invoice) and you'd rather have an agent draft it for a person to check than type every field yourself, that's what Roadmark is built for, with the shared workspace keeping shippers and carriers on the same shipment. It also runs several companies or divisions in one system with separate books, and plans your own trucks.

What we could confirm, and what we couldn't

Turvo's own site names freight brokers, shippers, 3PLs and carriers as who it's for, and its pricing page lists a starting price for its Core TMS plan. Turvo's announcements describe AI from partners working inside the platform (Augment, Parade, Vooma), load posting to DAT from the Turvo dashboard (turvo.com) and carrier identity checks through Highway (highway.com). We didn't find a Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini/Copilot-style assistant connector, or how legally separate companies and their books are set up, described on Turvo's own site; ask Turvo. Check Turvo's own site for anything that's changed since our last review, and see /integrations for what Roadmark connects to today and /pricing for how Roadmark is priced.

Questions about Roadmark and Turvo

Is Turvo a direct competitor to Roadmark?

In part. Both put shippers, brokers and carriers on the same shipment. Turvo also sells to shippers as a TMS for their own freight and publishes a starting price; Roadmark is built for carriers, brokers and groups, with AI agents that draft the routine work for a person to approve, several companies in one system, and the option to run beside your current TMS. See /brokers.

Who owns Turvo?

Turvo has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Lineage, a large logistics and cold-storage company, since Lineage and Bay Grove acquired it on June 1, 2022. Lineage said at the time that Turvo would keep operating under its own brand.

How much does Turvo cost?

Roadmark starts from $499 USD/month with unlimited users. Start with one workflow beside your current TMS and confirm the setup and price with our team. Compare the required workflows, integrations and implementation scope when evaluating other vendors.

Can Roadmark run beside Turvo?

Yes. Turvo licenses an API for building integrations with its platform, covering shipments and their tracking status, and a Turvo customer gets the credentials from inside its own Turvo account. Roadmark runs beside Turvo through it, one job at a time: a brokerage can start with quoting in Roadmark, booked quotes become shipments in Turvo with the stops, rate and references on them, and status comes back.

Does Turvo have AI agents like Roadmark's?

Turvo works with AI from partners inside its platform: Augment's Augie for order-to-cash work (announced October 2025), Parade CoDriver for inbound carrier calls and email, and Vooma for email quoting and order entry. Roadmark's own agents draft quotes, plans, tracking updates and invoices for a person to approve, with the numbers and rule shown.
